Types of Places
​
There are 2 different types of places in MyCompass, public and private places. Private places or "My Places" are specific to an individual. These places are not visible to anyone outside the Individual and their contributors. Individuals and their contributors can create private places that are important to that individual. 

Public places, are found under "Discover Places". When created, public places are submitted for review by the organization administration before they are added to the public list. These places are available to any individual within an organization.
